Established in 2010, Ace Auto Salvage (“Ace”) is led by a management team with a combined 35 years’ experience in the motor salvage and short term insurance industries.
Our motor salvage business comprises motor salvage and vehicle recovery. Our strategy is to dynamically manage insurance salvage in line with SAIA code of conduct therefore providing holistic solutions to our short-term insurance partners.
Our motor salvage vehicles are dealer stocked and code 3A vehicles are stripped for spare parts to ensure that they are not disposed of as a whole unit and placed back into the South African automotive market.
Burn-outs and totally crushed vehicles are shredded, with crushing certificates issued after conclusion of this process therefore preventing cloning of vehicles.

Ace is contracted to various short-term insurers and provides end-to-end solutions for their motor, non-motor, household, and marine salvage.
We have a dedicated team of call centre specialists ready to assist all our clients with a solutionist mindset.
We manage salvage dynamically on behalf of our insurance partners, in accordance with the provisions of SAIA Code of Salvage.
We also specialise in sales to various wholesale and/or retail clients in accordance with the provisions of FICA and/or the 2nd Hand Goods Act.
